You are warmly invited to the presentation of Liliana Žutautienė’s painting exhibition “Garden of Life”, which will take place on October 7 at 5:30 p.m. at the Angel Museum–Sacred Art Center (Vilniaus St. 11, Anykščiai). The artist herself and students of the Anykščiai Art School will participate in the event.
In Liliana Žutautienė’s paintings, one feels the untamed dance of grasses and the breath of flowers. The artist cannot live without color — whether oil or watercolor. Light and color are vital to her, essential parts of her well-being.
Liliana Žutautienė says: “I keep discovering more and more meanings of the word ‘garden.’ I dive into memories, surrendering to the emotions hidden behind a simple image, a still frame. While painting even the most ordinary flower blossom — already created yet containing everything — I become entangled in endless, unsolvable existential reflections. I feel an insatiable thirst for the beauty of life and cherish every moment given to me. I am here, and at the same time, elsewhere… My garden of memories is gradually becoming the Garden of Life.”
The exhibition will be open until October 31.
