SYMBOLS IN THE COATS OF ARMS OF LITHUANIA
During the educational session, the principles of the coat of arms creation, the main colours and their meanings are presented, and the most commonly used symbols in Lithuanian coats of arms and their meanings are discussed. The coats of arms of Anykščiai, Vilnius, Kaunas and other cities are examined, as well as their historical development. School students are involved in a “game” that invites them to explore the historical contexts that have influenced the development of city coats of arms. Creative activity – designing a school crest. School students develop their citizenship by trying to find out which values are most important to them, which ones they want to use in their school coat of arms, and how to convey them in the language of symbols. You can book this education, which takes place at the Angel Museum-Sacred Art Center, through the Cultural Passport.
ANGELS AND SAINTS
After familiarising yourself with the symbols of Christian iconography, you will analyse how the depiction of angels and saints in the works of modern folk artists has changed compared to the works of the old worshippers. After studying a selected Lithuanian folk sculpture, you will create an artistic interpretation – a three-dimensional composition. The creative task will develop aesthetic perception and imagination. Pre-registration is required. You can book this education, which takes place at the Angel Museum-Sacred Art Center (Vilniaus g. 11, Anykščiai), via the Culture Passport.

VIRTUAL REALITY FILMS
Experience art in 360°: virtual reality films based on the work of some of the most famous Lithuanian expatriate painters – the exotic Jonas Rimša and the colourful Vytautas Kasiulis. VR films allow us to go beyond the artists’ work. The paintings in the film are chosen to represent different stages of the artists’ lives and journeys. Using virtual reality technology, 360-degree space and animated action, the viewer is taken on a journey through the world as seen through the eyes of the creators. 8-10 min. film screening price: adults 5 Eur; school students, students, pensioners, people with disabilities 3 Eur.
