Melodious and intimate Lithuanian musical mirages!
At the beginning of April, composer Zita Bružaitė, together with the Kaunas Piano Trio, released a chamber music album titled “Mirages.”
This debut recording features performances of the composer’s works by Lina Krėpštaitė (piano), Indrė Andruškevičiūtė (violin), and Asta Krištaponienė (cello). The album also includes the voice of baritone Giedrius Prunskus, featured alongside the Trio.
The album launch event will take place on June 14 at 6:00 PM at the Angel Museum–Sacred Art Center in Anykščiai.
The program will offer listeners a romantic chamber music experience — soothing and expressive, inviting you to follow a gentle journey through lyrical melodies and harmonious textures. The songs performed by Giedrius Prunskus, set to texts by Vytautas Mačernis, Maironis, Sigitas Geda, and Algimantas Baltakis, will unfold like miniature theatrical scenes, each telling a unique musical story.
About the Performers:
