We invite artists and curators to submit proposals for exhibitions and artistic projects to be presented in the Anykščiai Arts Center’s Temporary Exhibition Hall (11 Vilniaus St., Anykščiai) during 2027–2028.
The Anykščiai Arts Center aims to present contemporary art in the region, provide the local community with opportunities to discover professional artists, and encourage active participation in cultural life. The AMC Temporary Exhibition Hall serves as a space for dialogue between the Arts Center and the public, hosting exhibitions by professional artists, meetings with artists, exhibition tours, creative workshops and educational activities.
Applications and supporting materials will be accepted from 24 August to 31 October 2026 (inclusive) via the online application form: https://forms.gle/aeVTXEoaj38Bxi99A
The application should include: – a CV of the artist(s) and/or curator; – a description and concept of the proposed exhibition or project; – visual material related to the proposed exhibition or project (photographs of artworks, sketches, visualisations, drawings, etc.), including the number of works to be presented. Applications with the required supporting materials may also be submitted by email to parodos.amc@gmail.com. Applications will be reviewed by a selection committee appointed by the Anykščiai Arts Center. Applications without visual material for the proposed exhibition or project will not be considered. The AMC reserves the right to determine the exhibition schedule according to its programme and organisational needs.
Selected applicants will be notified individually of the results by 30 November 2026. The Arts Center will then contact selected applicants to discuss the conditions for implementing the project, exhibition dates and other organisational matters.
